My 9 year old cousin Ryan is spending the night with me tonight. We've baked cookies already and now we're watching The Pink Panther Strikes Again, one of my all-time favorite movies. The Pink Panther movies were my very favorites when I was growing up; my mother talks about how I laughed to no end. I still love them. Just insane slapstick.

- Paul Guest is the author of four volumes of poetry and a memoir. His debut, The Resurrection of the Body and the Ruin of the World, was awarded the 2002 New Issues Poetry Prize. Is it a sin to take nearly the whole day off to catch Star Wars on opening day? I think not! (Or at least that's my argument for my boss when I return to the office tomorrow afternoon...)
