I'm still alive. Leg in a bright pink cast. Luckily, I won't need surgery, though the orthopedist did say it was a "nasty fracture." Having seen the x-rays, I didn't need convincing.
The leg is feeling better, though, less pain, less discomfort and ache, and I'm sleeping better than I did at first.
I'm grateful, strangely, for the stability of the cast, though it is hot.

Wall-E: Excellent.
The Incredible Hulk: Not bad at all. Not bad at all.
Hancock: Better than I expected, and could have been better still.
Tomorrow? Maybe Wanted? I dunno.

Glad you're doing well. I was worried, what with all the radio (blog) silence.
Next up: Batman. Haven't seen Hancock yet. Then again, with the baby, I haven't seen 3 consecutive hours of sleep in 3 months.
You neglected to mention earlier that your cast was pink! My inner girl is giggling with you. (Assuming your inner girl is also giggling.)
"Wanted" is absolute nonsense, but a total hoot. The special effects are brilliant and McAvoy and Jolie are easy on the eyes.
Glad to hear you're ok.
I've only gotten in a few summer blockbusters but I plan on making that up soon.
Batman & Hellboy II are on my list, and then perhaps X-Files.
I thought Hulk was okay, but could've been SO much more.
Pink!
Very healing, I understand.
damn. blogger ate my comment.
i was thinking a blaze orange shirt might go nicely with your new cast, and maybe some white leather loafers, àla Pat Boone.
i haven't been reading any blogs for a couple of weeks. so i only read of your owie today.
i've had a few complications, but my daughter is here to help, and nag me to move in with her. (no way)
i'm glad you're home and that the nice doctor gave you a smooth surface for the ladies to autograph. (beats trying to sign your name on hairy legs.)
