It kind of warms my heart because it calls to mind that scene from This is Spinal Tap, after Nigel has quit the band, when they arrive at a Six Flags-style show and see the marquee, which reads:

Haven't seen you in forever. And haven't been keeping up with blogs lately either. Hope you're well, happy birthday, and say "hey" to Bob for me next week. I'd ask you to give him a big hug for me, but I'd hate to be responsible for starting rumors.
