The stray cat my brother recently adopted just had her kittens but in hiding. He's spent a few days searching for where she would go when she would come to be fed. He found her, with 4 kittens, inside the hollow trunk of this tree. Posted by Picasa

Good time Paul to remind everyone the importance of spaying/neutering their pets. Close to 5 millions pets are killed in shelters each year in the United States. This is everyone's problem. Yes, kittens are undeniably cute, but cuteness doesn't save them from being gassed, suffocated, or lethally injected and then dumped by the hundreds to rot in cuteness in city dumps.

So spay and neuter! Save a life.

Almost forgot: kudos to your brother for taking in a stray and caring for her. She is a lucky cat and her kittens can relax knowing they will be altered and cared for by responsible people. Yea for the Guest clan!
