Ah, it'll happen, and when it does, I'll be a-drownin' in Paul Guest poems again, right down there with the perfumed octopus to the tune of a Donald Duck lullaby. Something like that. Yippee. I'm impatient in all cases, but in this case, I'm sure I'm not the only one who says, "Curses. Drats. Someone slap the proper cover and design on this perfection already and send those words on their way!"

It's neither little nor
meaningless, Paul.

But is full of hope.

You probably loathe Coldplay--seems they're as anathema to love as Aha or Abba (not sure why 2 A bands popped into my head, ha ha) but I love them anyway. Reading your table of contents made me think of that song, their first real hit, "Yellow."

Look at the stars.
Look how they shine for you
and everything you do.
Yeah, they were all yellow.

I asked another blogger if in a previous life he'd been an angel or a firefly. What about you, Paul? You see so full of light.

Paul,

What happened to the poem about the horse everyone had given up on save for the wily owner and the down-on-his-luck jockey?

By the way, I hope you're using a right powerful server these days because I just figured out how to build a hotlink to your site into my blog front page (still can't get the blue font, though), so you'll be receiving scores of visitors (sans scores) from my site (i.e., the site's three participants).

We like your stuff, kid. And I'm not saying that just because Betsy told me about your site!
