Live from

Chattanooga-Hamilton County Bicentennial Library. This place once seemed immense. Not so much now. I came here once in jr. high to check out Humphrey Carter's biography of J.R.R. Tolkien. I don't know why I remember that.

I had to get a guest card to use this pc. When the lady asked for my last name, I think she thought I was being cheeky.

Yes, I said cheeky.

Giggle. More people should use brit-slang. Of course, you had to be consistent with the Tolkien.

To be fair, the lady probably gets a lot of cheeky, working there. Did she ask for your id?

Yes, you did, Cynthia. I remembered that after recalling your reading in Baltimore. I was there for the Meacham reading too; I think we might have even spoken briefly at some point.

Meacham is not nearly so crazy now as it once was. I don't know how to feel about that....
